We all know how effective For Sale boards are because they indicate your presence in the market*. A Sold board especially demonstrates your success in the area but I only know of a few agents who really remind people that the agent does more than sell houses - they actually help people move. One brilliant (and should be obvious) way of doing this is to provide half a dozen branded "No Parking" bollards to a vendor two days before their removal truck arrives. That way, you are helping your vendor ensure that the truck is able to park conveniently close to the property. More importantly, you are reminding the neighbours that you have not only sold the property, but that you are actually involved in the moving process. Of course, the really smart agent will provide these to anyone who is moving - irrespective of whether or not they were the selling agent!
